Send invoices automatically from Recras to Moneybird with Zapier

Moneybird and Recras

Many Recras members have the need to automatically export invoices from Recras to accounting software. Recras does not interface with accounting software, but Zapier can do this for you. A so-called "Zap" takes care of this process.

Zapier links web services together. Zapier ensures that an event (Trigger) in one Web service results in an automatic response (Action) in another Web service.

How does that work?

In the case of invoices in Recras, it works as follows:

  1. There is a new final invoice in Recras
  2. This forms the Trigger for the Zap in Zapier
  3. The Action then creates an invoice in Moneybird
  4. In the Zap, you can set which categories the invoice will end up in


Important to know

You can only book on one category per VAT rate in Moneybird. If at any time you want to know how much of your turnover is with certain products or product groups, you can easily get that from the statistics of Recras. All invoices come under one contact in Moneybird. The Zap cannot create new contacts. Invoices to which 'VAT reverse charge' applies must be manually corrected in Moneybird. A Zap must be set up per internal company in Recras.
